Cogito Ergo Sum

The 'mystery' of existence is only relevant to a species capable of formulating the question

"I was lying in my bed one night when for the first time in my life i felt a recognizable separation between my body and mind. I felt as if the mind is the only thing that truly exists and the rest of the world is merely a construct of our own subjective imagination. We create the world in order to make sense of this strange phenomenon known as consciousness. Without the world there would be no avenue for consciousness to understand and make sense of its abilities. Ultimately, evolution of consciousness is the purpose of this seemingly meaningless existence. But along with this notion it must be accepted therefore that we are eternal beings experiencing a brief but magnificent opportunity to learn what it is like to be human."
